Project Execution

With our fast-changing environment, project execution methodology is critical and can define a project’s success. Project requirements and goals will help determine what type of execution system should be utilized. The variables for this decision are typically centered around the scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements of a project.

Arclight Contractors provides our clients with options for project execution. We evaluate the project schedule, scope, and constructability in order to expedite the work and minimize the cost. Our experience saves our clients time and money. Contracting Methods

With each execution model, there are different contracting methods that can be considered based on the project status and detail of the documentation. Each option can be used to provide specific strengths to the project, but also have risks that need to be considered. Arclight Contractors will work through these options with our clients to make sure they are using the execution strategy and contracting method that best fits their project requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities

Project Executive

The Project Executive is responsible for the overall success of the project. Their role is to aid and assist the construction management team and the client to achieve the overall success of the project. 

Project Manager

The Project Manager is responsible for the daily management, supervision, coordination, and successful completion of the project. Main duties include meeting the time and cost objectives with respect to contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administration functions.

Superintendent

The Superintendent is responsible for the site safety, quality control, coordination of subcontractors / vendors, and adherence to the project schedule. Main duties include the overall site control and coordination with respect to the project goals.

Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting the Project Manager with the daily management, supervision, coordination, and successful completion of the project(s). They must meet time and cost objectives with respect to contracting, scheduling, estimating, bidding, and contract administrative functions.

Assistant Superintendent

The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for assisting the Superintendent with enforcing site safety, quality control, coordination of subcontractors, and overall project cleanliness.

Project Analyst

The Project Analyst leads all financial administration and fiscal management aspects of the project. The Analyst will ensure that all team members, including the project manager, superintendent, and engineers are following Arclight Contractors financial policy and Procedures. They will communicate financial aspects of the team to the PM, Arclight Contractors management, and the client.

Safety Director

The Safety Director is primarily responsible to plan, implement and supervise project Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) programs in compliance with corporate and client EH&S policies and procedures. They will train, instruct, provide educational materials, and support project staff on applicable EH&S rules and regulations.
